Privacy Policy - Craps Calculator
Effective Date: March 9, 2026
Last Updated: July 19, 2026
Craps Calculator ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, process, and use, and the choices available to you when using the Craps Calculator mobile app (the "App").
1. Scope
This Policy applies to the Craps Calculator App and the related services we use to operate it, including authentication, cloud storage, analytics, advertising, diagnostics, subscriptions, purchase management, age assurance, and app store compliance services.
2. Information We Collect and Process
A. Account and Authentication Data
You can use core App functionality without creating an account. Premium may be purchased without creating an account where supported.
Sign-in is optional for purchasing Premium but may be required for cloud-backed, account-based, cross-device, or synchronized features.
If you choose to sign in, we may collect and store:
- A user identifier, such as your Firebase UID
- The email address provided by your sign-in provider
- A username and profile information you provide in the App
- Authentication provider information, such as information associated with Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple
B. Gameplay and App Data
When applicable features are used, we may collect:
- Saved game history and session details, such as roll counts, roll frequencies, session names, game outcomes, timestamps, and related statistics
- Dice-tracking sessions, notes, selected settings, and App preferences
- App version and feature-usage metadata
- Other information you choose to save or submit through the App
C. Subscription and Purchase Data
If you view, purchase, restore, redeem, manage, or use Premium subscription features, we and our subscription service provider may process subscription-related information, including:
- Your RevenueCat App User ID, which may be anonymous or linked to your Firebase UID when you are signed in
- The subscription product selected, such as monthly or yearly Premium
- Entitlement status, such as whether "Craps Calculator Pro" is active
- Purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, refund, promotional-code, or restoration events
- App store transaction identifiers, receipts, and subscription metadata supplied by the Apple App Store or Google Play
We do not receive or store your complete payment card number. Payment processing is handled by the applicable app store or payment provider.
Premium is currently used primarily to remove advertisements and provide ad-free access. Premium may also include additional account-based or cloud-backed features in the future.
D. Device, Diagnostics, and Usage Data
We may collect:
- Device and operating-system information
- App interactions and feature-usage events
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics
- Installation-scoped identifiers and analytics identifiers provided by SDKs and services
E. Advertising Data
When advertisements are shown, advertising partners may process:
- Advertisement interactions, such as impressions and clicks
- Device and App signals needed to serve, limit, secure, and measure advertisements
- Advertising identifiers where available and permitted by platform settings and applicable consent choices
Premium users should generally not see in-App banner, native, or rewarded advertisements while their Premium entitlement is active.
Advertising partners may still process information from earlier free App sessions, non-Premium sessions, or situations in which advertisements are otherwise displayed.
F. Age Assurance and Parental-Approval Signals
Where supported or required by law, the Apple App Store or Google Play may provide the App with limited age-assurance and parental-approval information.
This information may include:
- A coarse age category or age range, rather than an exact date of birth
- Whether an age was verified, declared, or supplied through a supervised account
- Whether parental or guardian approval is approved, pending, denied, or revoked
- Whether an age-related regulatory action or significant-update acknowledgment is required
- Limited App installation or version information needed to determine whether a person installed the App before a significant update
We do not receive your exact date of birth, copies of government identification, full payment-card information, facial-verification data, or other documents used by Apple or Google to perform age verification. Verification is performed by the applicable platform.
Age and approval signals are used only to:
- Provide an age-appropriate experience
- Determine whether access may be permitted or restricted
- Respond to parental-approval status
- Present a platform-required significant-update acknowledgment
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and app store requirements
We do not use age or parental-approval signals for advertising, marketing, analytics, profiling, personalization unrelated to age compliance, or business intelligence.
The App is designed to process these signals transiently on the device. We do not intentionally transmit age ranges or parental-approval signals to Firebase, Mixpanel, advertising providers, or our own backend services.
The App may store a local device marker indicating that a significant-update flow has already been handled. This marker does not contain the person's age or age range.
3. Services and SDKs We Use
Depending on your platform and the features you use, we use services that may include:
- Google Firebase, including Authentication, Firestore or database services, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, App Check, Storage, and Messaging, as applicable
- RevenueCat, for subscription product display, purchase management, entitlement status, subscription lifecycle events, purchase restoration, promotional-code support, and Customer Center subscription management
- Mixpanel, for product analytics and session replay where enabled
- Google AdMob, for advertisements
- Meta or Facebook Audience Network, for advertisements
- Apple App Store and Google Play, for App distribution, age assurance, parental approval, in-App purchases, and subscription processing
- Apple Declared Age Range, StoreKit, and related system frameworks for age-assurance and significant-update flows
- Google Play Age Signals API for applicable age-assurance and parental-approval signals
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies, platform rules, and terms.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected or processed information to:
- Provide App functionality, including optional sign-in and cloud-backed history
- Save, synchronize, and restore user game data
- Provide, verify, restore, and manage Premium subscription access
- Remove advertisements and provide Premium features while an entitlement is active
- Provide age-appropriate access and comply with age-assurance requirements
- Respond to parental-approval states and significant-update requirements
- Maintain security and prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access
- Troubleshoot crashes and improve stability and performance
- Analyze App usage to improve the product experience
- Deliver and measure advertisements when advertisements are displayed
- Communicate important account, support, privacy, or service-related information where applicable
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with service providers and processors that help us operate the App, including the providers identified above.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to enforce our rights, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect users, the App, or the public.
Age ranges and parental-approval signals obtained through platform age-assurance APIs are not shared with advertising, marketing, analytics, or profiling providers. We use those signals only inside the requesting App for age-appropriate experiences and legal or regulatory compliance, except where disclosure is strictly required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide features, operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.
Age ranges and parental-approval signals are intended to be processed transiently and are not intentionally retained in our backend systems.
A local device marker may be retained to prevent a completed significant-update acknowledgment from appearing repeatedly. This marker does not contain an age, date of birth, or age range.
If you request deletion, we delete eligible account-linked information subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, and platform-retention exceptions.
Subscription transaction records may remain with Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other providers according to their own legal obligations and retention practices.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information.
Information transmitted to our backend providers is encrypted in transit, including through HTTPS or TLS where applicable. No electronic system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Account and Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated eligible data:
- In the App through the account-deletion flow when signed in
- Through the external request page:
https://www.rickhouse.dev/craps-calculator/delete-my-account
Deleting your Craps Calculator account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. You must manage or cancel subscriptions through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or subscription-management tools made available in the App.
Data Export
Where available, you may request or export eligible account data using in-App tools.
Premium and Subscription Management
You may manage or cancel subscriptions through the platform where you purchased them, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The App may also provide a subscription-management link or a Customer Center powered by RevenueCat.
Ads and Tracking Controls
Platform controls, such as Apple's App Tracking Transparency settings and Android advertising settings, may affect advertising personalization and measurement.
Age-Assurance Choices
Age-assurance information is supplied and managed by Apple or Google. Depending on your account, platform, location, and applicable law, you or your parent or guardian may be able to manage age-sharing and approval choices through your Apple Account, Google Account, Family Sharing, Family Link, App Store, or Google Play settings.
Declining to share required age information, failing to meet an applicable age requirement, or having approval pending, denied, or revoked may limit access to some or all of the App.
Regional Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain, or restrict certain processing of your personal information.
9. Children's and Teen Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age applicable in their jurisdiction.
The App does not ask users to provide an exact date of birth or independently submit identity-verification documents. Where applicable, limited age categories and parental-approval signals are provided by Apple or Google.
Platform availability and age treatment may differ:
- On Apple platforms, the App is intended for users who meet its applicable App Store age rating and may restrict access when the supplied age category does not meet the App's 18+ requirement.
- On Android, the App remains Teen-rated and does not impose the iOS-specific 18+ requirement. Google Play supervision, parental approval, and applicable regional requirements may still affect access or purchases.
We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Parents and guardians should use the parental controls and account-management features supplied by Apple or Google to manage a minor's App downloads, purchases, and access.
10. International Processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, including countries where our service providers operate.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the current version with an updated "Last Updated" date.
Where required, we may use Apple, Google, or other platform mechanisms to notify users, request acknowledgment, or request parental or guardian approval before applying a significant change.
Changes that may require additional notice or approval can include changes to:
- The categories of personal information processed
- The App's age rating or age-related access
- Advertising or monetization features
- Material App functionality or user experience
- The terms governing how information is collected, used, stored, or shared
